Teacher Coaching & Mentoring

Objective:
- To help teachers navigate their immersion to the teaching profession during their first year.
- To support incoming teachers with the tools to create safe and productive learning environments through effective classroom management and instruction.
- To promote a healthier workforce through high levels of performance and satisfaction among educators.
Program's description: In this series, participants reflect on their beliefs about coaching and mentoring, teacher profile, goal setting and how to foster a culture of self growth and professional development. Participants also learn about social emotional intelligence, coping strategies, as well as organization and time management skills. Furthermore, participants learn how to benefit from support groups, networking, the power of lesson planning and questioning skills, classroom management, how to develop a strong teacher character and maintain a positive attitude as a teacher.
